Jason Starr

Over the past five years I've worked with more than 100 players, developing their technical ability, game understanding and passion for football. As Director of Fuego since 2021, I focus on high-quality development and creating pathways for young footballers. My career took me from India's I-League Second Division with Sudeva Moonlight FC to England with Cove FC and Haywards Heath Town, after coming through Australia's NPL system with Blacktown City, Sydney United and Rockdale City Suns.

Since co-founding Fuego alongside Jason, my passion has been the identification, mentoring and long-term development of young players — guiding them through their developmental stages toward clear, sustainable pathways in football. I've completed the AFC C Diploma and am currently undertaking the AFC B Diploma. My own journey began in grassroots football before progressing into Sydney Juniors and the Sydney NPL system, competing against strong opposition throughout my youth career.
